Daussi Diamonds

When looking at a Henri Daussi diamond, it’s hard to imagine that it was once an uncut rough stone that began its journey at the center of the earth and has taken billions of years to form.

Antwerp is the diamond capital of the world and home to our diamond cutting operations.

Henri Daussi is proud to be an industry leader in responsible sourcing. Each Daussi diamond originates from a small number of carefully selected diamond mines. Each individual diamond is carefully tracked along its path, ensuring that strict environmental and social standards are met.

When it comes to diamonds, the value and beauty differ greatly depending on carat weight, color, clarity, and cut. So before a rough diamond reaches a diamond cutter, it will have been studied thoroughly in our Antwerp home office, and designed to achieve maximum brilliance, quality, and value.

The first step in diamond cutting is placing a few larger facets to open up visibility into the stone. If new impurities appear, it may lead to a change in design or shape. The final stage is adding the very small facets that give the diamonds their fire and brilliance. Each facet’s angle, size, and symmetry is vital to its beauty and value.

Only when cut to perfection does Antwerp finally approve this diamond to be used in a Henri Daussi signature creation.

Cutting unique diamonds has been a staple in our history and continues today. The Daussi Cushion is our signature diamond shape. Designed by the Loots family, the Daussi Cushion is a redesigned and modernized traditional cushion cut with exclusive faceting that makes the diamond appear 30-50% larger than traditional diamonds of the same carat weight.

Both our Signature Daussi Cushion diamonds and all other diamond shapes are available in a variety of sizes, colors, and clarities. Each diamond is one of a kind and has a different personality. We are delighted to help you find the perfect diamond.
